Our Plan

Why go to mars?

The pros of bi-planetary life far outweigh the cons. First of all, having humans on Mars will be a kind of insurance plan for humanity. If something terrible happens to life on Earth, the human race will live on. There's also the potential for lots of research on Mars. Despite all the information we've gathered about Mars and other planets like it, there's more to be known. Having colonists live on Mars means that everything, from gathering samples to testing the planet's effect on the human body, will be much, much easier than it otherwise would be.

how do we get to mars?

Phoenix 55 will be using ion thrusters to get to Mars. Our Ship Captain has timed the launch date so that we won't miss Mars. Supply drops with materials and high-tech robots equipped with large-scale 3D printers will be made before our ship launches. Our colonists will follow in a pod along with our ship crew.

What's our vision?

We hope for a peaceful colony on Mars. If it's not as peaceful as we hope for, the justice system will be much like that of the US, where criminals get a fair trial. The Martian government will also be based on Mars, because long-distance governments historically do not work.
